Can a disqualification be removed before the time is up?
If you have served a certain amount of time you can go back to Court and ask for
your licence back. You will need to be able to persuade the Court that you
deserve your licence back before the period has come to an end.
This is not always the easiest of challenges and a change of circumstances such
as a new job is the best argument. Below are a list of time scales which would
apply and if you feel a helping hand at Court would be the best way to achieve

You may apply for your
disqualification to be removed within the following timescales…
- 2 years, if the disqualification is less than four years.
- One half of the period of disqualification, if it is for less than ten years but
not less than four years.
- 5 years, if the disqualification was for ten years or more.
