Most people are under the impression that driving licences run until a driver turns seventy but the introduction of the Photocard driving licence has left most people with a much shorter licence that they thought.
A driving licence now only lasts ten years as it is thought that the photo of you will be out of date after ten years. I have had a number of people contact the office lately who have fallen foul of this rule, due to the fact it is now over ten years since the introduction of the photocard licence.
Are you sure you have a valid driving licence? Maybe you should just pull it out of the cupboard just to make sure.
