Residents in Prestbury, Gloucestershire are expected to take up the national Community Speed Watch scheme in the fight against
speeding. The scheme involves community minded individuals being trained up to use radar speed detection guns and report persistant speeders to police who, after several incidents, will take action against the speeders. The scheme can be set up in any village or small town with a speed limit of 30mph or 40mph and is aimed at helping to drive down speeding incidences in problem areas.
